Estimate Search Engine Position With Google Analytics

In an article at Yoast.com entitled Track SEO Rankings with Google Analytics, the author gives detailed instructions on how to make Google Analytics track your search engine rank. The data that this feature provides will show which keyword is searched/clicked and the number of the first listing for that SERP. For example if 'tire iron' shows up on the 3rd listing of Page-3 it will show "Page: 20" meaning the 3rd SERP. Here is an example of the report provided by Yoast:

Check out the full article so that you can set up your Google Analytics to provide  you with this data. Obviously there are other ways to get search engine ranks, but they are not available to everyone and sometimes inaccurate. This is a free way to not only enhance reporting and analysis, but also know which keywords you should focus on with your SEO efforts.
